  you really can't go wrong with any of the wineries on Keuka Lake (I lived in Hammondsport, right on the lake, for five years.) I am partial toward Dr. Konstantin Frank's because they have the best Riesling in the world and my BFF's husband is the champagne maker there. He has produced some award winners. Bully Hill and Castel Grisch would also be great places to visit.

  I do! I do! Castel Grisch!!! It's on the southwest side of Seneca Lake, just north of Watkins Glen. Their wine is my favorite, especially the Seneca Dream White. They have a great restaurant there (like German/Bavarian stuff) with a beautiful view! It's off the main road but not very far.
