Hi everyone.... I'm looking for suggestions on the best shoes to wear for working 8+hours on ur feet for someone with flat feet, a bad knee, and a couple bulging discs in lower back...and...GO

Dansko's (the 8+ hour clogs) ...not fancy/pretty but worked really well for me when I was a teacher and on my feet all day! https://www.dansko.com/
Does anyone know of a place relatively close to campus that does shoe repair? The staples pulled out of my Dansko's on the side and I would love to not buy another $140 pair!

I went to Scrubs & Beyond to try on before buying online! If you go to www.dansko.com there is a "find a retailer" option! I love mine... Sooooo sad this happened!!
HELP!!!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS!!!!
I need to find a pair of shoes that will be comfortable for me to be on my feet for 12 hours. Works dress code is casual dress, so I need to find something to go with a dressy pair of jeans and a sweater. Anyone know a brand or store to find this?????
Jen C. replied:
Yes! Check out www.dansko.com and see where they sell them. If you like a pair that doesn't look too nurse like, go try theme on at a store (use the website) then check the price on line. They run around $100 but if you know which ones you like and the size then you can probably get a good deal on line
Friends who are nurses/docs/PAs/long-standers: any good shoe recommendations?? My feet are killing me! (History is wide toe box, high arches). Something semi-professional looking would be a plus but comfort is my main concern. Thanks for the tips!
