  Lew Marshall thought I may be able to recommend a few places for you since we live in St. Augustine. Here are a few nice places for special/formal dinner that you may like that are all in the downtown historic district and all within walking distance from each other : 95 Cordova (http://www.casamonica.com/dining/), The Tasting Room (http://www.tastetapas.com/), and Collage (http://www.collagestaug.com/). Each of them offer fine dining and you should be able to check out their menu to see if it fits your needs. There is one other place with a great menu but a little more social atmosphere that you can check out and that is Cellar 6 (http://www.cellar6 staugustine.com/). Good luck and enjoy your visit...
