  Does anyone know if its possible to embed a rental search website within my blog without "giving away the store" so to speak? Many times I have clients come to town looking for property and want to rent a home or condo for 1 to 4 weeks. I know I can refer them to VRBO or some such site but I'd love to send them to my blog.

  If you have an idx feed, simply create a custom search for rentals. You can see an example on http://www.shelterrealty.com/ I've also set up a separate rental only site. Another alternative would be an iframe or a possible affiliate plugin for one of the large rental networks. But, you'll loose the leads at that point.
