My back is fucked - any brighton based cripples have recommendation for someone to fix it?

Has anyone used a Tens machine in labour and would you recommend ?
Michelle L. replied:
I used a tens machine both times hon. It certainly works for the early stages and helps you to stay at home for as long as possible. Once at hospital and in the late stages I think jumping in the birth pool with some gas and air is more effective! I don't think that you can use a regular tens machine though so hire one if no one has a pregnancy suitable one to lend to you. I used this website: 'www.birthease.co.uk' to hire mine. It costs £20 with post and packaging included and they let you hire it for 7 weeks. You give them your due date and they send you the kit. They include a box with pre-paid postage so that you can send the kit back to them after you have used it. They usually send it to you 4 weeks before your due date and ask for it back 3 weeks after your due date. Not long now! x
