I wasn't sure if the library offered them or not, but if anyone knows of any book stores etc. in town that sells them or rents them out your help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance! :)

Try bookrenter.com, that is where I got all of mine from. I also attend A&M Commerce and I rented 3 books for like $75 including shipping. You can keep them up to 125 days. It has saved me a lot , especially since Navarro changed all of their books this semester.
My son ordered his textbooks from Chegg. Is there a local UPS store by school? Not sure how he is supposed to get the rented books returned in December!

Do not buy any of these books. Use bookrenter.com or chegg.com to rent them. After these classes you will never use them again. & trying to sell them is worthless.

Anybody have good suggestions on where to get College Textbooks?
I've tried Chegg but it was more expensive than the bookstore price, and have researched a few other websites and my text book doesn't even show up on there. I can't even rent it, and paying full price just isn't an option right now.

bookrenter.com and apparently, Barnes and Noble does rental, too

I rented all of my text for my classes from either bookrenter.com or from ecampus.com....depending on who had the better price for the book...trust me, you will never use the text after school to justify spending hundred of dollars on each book when you can rent and return for $20 a book, give or take...

try bookrenter.com. it does mean a computer or tablet to read your book, or you could print it (however much that might cost). the couple of books I looked at were only $25 for 125 days
Carter M. replied:
my bad. bookrenter seems to be actual books, not pdfs. shipping/handling charges unknown
