Learning To Drive In London Hi everyone,
I'm 23 and, quite embarrassingly, failed to pass my driving test when I was 17/18 and living outside of London. Since moving here I obviously have had no need to learn to drive but I've decided to surprise my friends and family and do it quietly in London. I put in hundreds of hours driving as a teenager (and I was perfectly good at it), I just really struggled with test nerves.
Does anyone have any recommendations for driving instructors/companies? I live in Clapham and work quite heavily so it would have to be evenings and weekends.
Furthermore, any advice re: passing? Is there a good test centre to go for? I had a look at those week-long crash courses; are they worth it?
Thanks in advance!

You probably don't want to trek up to Wood Green every week from Clapham, but for anyone else reading in the area, I can't recommend http://www.drivewithnik.co.uk enough.
Hi all, as a new mum, i'm thinking it's about time I learnt to drive at the ripe old age of 34! I just wondered if anyone knows of any local instructors that would be patient with a slightly nervous student? Many thanks!
Any of my North London friends know a good driving instructor? Lexei is back from his travels and has a test booked for a week's time. He would like someone who can give him some refresher lessons.
