  Hello fellow Totterdonians, can anyone recommend a furniture supplier who sells sofas that you can actually get into the terrace houses here?! (apart from Ikea flatpack of course). We need to replace ours but we can't find any that we can squeeze through the narrow corridors or doorways. Or does anyone have a solution apart from removing windows??

  Sofa.com - they have a showroom in Bath and build the sofas in separate sections which they then construct inside the house. Great customer service. Super comfy and great quality sofas too!

  Not in Manc, but redbrick mill near Leeds will do you right. There's a heals & a made.com showroom. John Lewis stocks a good selection, got a nice range of gplan vintage & ercol. Alternately the quality of both next & m&s is pretty dam good, and you can select frames & fabrics. They also both offer finance which is important to some. Or sofa.com but you can't see before you buy.

  Multiyork. There used to be one in town, but I think it's recently closed. Might be one out Cheshire way. We went to 6 or 7 other sofa shops before realising the error of our ways...

  I've just seen a lovely trendy grey Sofa in a shop on Burton Road on my way home tonight. Next to the Metropolitan pub. Look's like a nice shop ..! Happy sofa shopping 👍
