I need some help. My favorite still camera (A Fuji Fine Pix 602 zoom) that I have had for 10 years just quit zooming the other day. The Fuji factory repair service says that they no longer can repair the camera. It's a great camera and I have made thousands of beautiful photos with it. I don't want to junk it. My son John gave it to me on my 70th birthday 10 years ago and I keep it like brand new. Does anyone know a reliable repair service that I can ship it to?
I found a company on the internet that said they could fix it for $94.00 + shipping which I thought was very fair, but then the rating sites had reviews on them that varied from shredding their repair service to giving them 5 star ratings. Can anyone recommend a company called United Camera Repair out of Illinois, or another reliable company camera repair service?
Thanks,
Walt Barrett
