I don't usually take the time to write reviews but if it can save one person or god forbid family from going through what we have it is worth it.
I Say this LOUD AND CLEAR BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!
I hired Suncoast Air to do a complete installation of a complete and new AC system and spent over 9,000$ in Total.
I was told by my Suncoast air salesman that I could call him personally if I had any trouble. 10 year warranty on all equipment. And free seasonal checkups.
I hired them in April and spent the next 8 months trying to get them to either A. answer the phone or B. show up when they said they were going to.
I had No AC for an entire summer.
Within two weeks my new air handler pan water alarm was going off and my ducts were melting off the plenum.
After a few casual check ups they claimed it was normal and also let me know that I would have to find another company to handle any warranty work because they were no longer expanding into my area.
Not kidding.
They then stopped taking my phone calls even though my whole system quit working and was sweating paste and dripping water and duct paste all over my attic.
This is in the middle of July and August in the Texas summer people. And I now had to worry about mold issues. A nightmare as a homeowner.
It wasn't until I threatened to contact a lawyer and report them to the attorney general's office that I finally received a phone call and a new attitude from the owner.
They still never solved any issues and I finally paid them another 1200$ dollars to move the entire air handler down to a utility room to keep it from sweating.
It was already winter by the time this was finished and.....you guessed it they didnt connect the heater correctly and I've been without any heat ever since relying on a space heater.
Again they took my 1200$ and never came back to get the heat working so I spent a summer without AC and now almost through the winter with NO HEAT,
I guess 9000$ dollars doesn't go as far as it used to. All I can do is laugh at this point.
Over the duration of this nightmare had to hire several local companies to clean up their mess and was promised by Charles Black the owner that I would be reimbursed. Of course that was just another lie.
For the love of god don't put yourselves or god forbid your family through what we've had to go through.
