  Can anyone offer advice, tips and recommendations on how to do Florida on a budget? We are desperate to take our kids (teenagers so possibly adult prices??) to Disneyland Florida, ideally staying in a villa with a pool but we are really struggling to raise the funds, can people offer any advice or be willing to tell me how much they estimate it would cost for a family of 4 for two weeks. Looking for tips on best time of year, how much spending money to take, where to buy holiday from, where to buy Disney tickets etc Any advice or suggestions welcome and very much appreciated!!   Have a look on 'the dibb' it's a forum with loads of info where you should get a round about price. Orlando attraction tickets came out cheapest for us and also booking a car direct with our virgin flights made our car hire £340 cheaper. You can get a kids eat free card and an eat and play card for discounts at most general restaurants. September is supposed to be a quieter time to go but still nice weather.. We will see!

  october great time to go. low crowds great weather and or course noone does Halloween bettet than America . attraction tickets direct excellent prices on park tickets. personally I would stay on I drive over a villa they seem to be further our meaning having to drive parking is $15 a day at the parks where most hotels offer free transport to and from the parks. The Dibb is an excellent website with loads of help and info but with spends you are looking at spending between 8-10 grand if you go outside school holidays it will save you a small fortune.

  If you have littleys then either the Sequoia Lodge (has a very subtle Bambi theme) or Hotel New York as then can walk to the parks through Disney Village in about 10 mins you can walk to the others but its longer & when you've had a full on day in the parks your feet hurt lol. They do run shuttles which are great if your kids are older but if you're going with a buggy its a bit of a scrum tbh & our European cousins don't quite understand the concept of queing ;) Disneyland Hotel is lovely but expensive. On the Dlp website they run various offers. They have a few on currently such as kids go free, 30 % off, 2 nights & days free & I think there is also a 40% off all for various dates & conditions. Click on the offers tab and you do have to click on the offer to find out all the gumpf. You can pay a deposit (if your trip is a way off) if you ring the park have a look on this forum (thedibb.co.uk) under disneyland paris & click on the sticky thread about booking. If however you want to book through their website by going through quidco you can get cashback. Do not ever book transport through Disney as it is way too expensive always book separately ferry, eurostar or eurotunnel we convert our tesco clubcard vouchers & go on eurotunnel. I have tons of info on dlp as have been waaay too many times so for any tips plse ask. Whilst at Disneyland look for hidden Mickeys (mickey head shapes) they are everywhere. Worth a look at the wallpaper in the Disneyland Hotel see who you can see. Lots of extra fun can be had with little ones as they enter into the fun of 'finding' :) x x Did you get that I love all things Disney ;)
