  Charter Recommendation In San Diego? So, I'm going to San Diego to visit family at the beginning of June, and I'm wanting to take either a 1/2 or full day fishing charter one day. Any recommendations on a good company to go through? It would most likely be just me, so a ticket on an open party boat would be ideal. Don't have the budget for a private charter.

  Hard to go wrong. [H&M Landing](https://www.hmlanding.com/) has lots of different trips. Keep your eye on the counts to see who has the hot boat. Also gone with [Seaforth](http://www.seaforthlanding.com/) a few times. If you really want to get the big fish, go full day (12 hours - usually 5-5). The 1/2 day trips seldom get out of the bay and you're getting rock fish and sculpin mostly.
