Hi all. I'd like to purchase a vibrating collar for Buzzy, does anyone know a reputable seller in Aus?
I spent some time online and I can't buy from the predominant USA market

Dogtra.com.au They are in qld very helpful. I have 2 of their collars Dogtra IQ Small&compact 2300 ncp Is bigger but has a longer range Either of these collars are brilliant in the right hands.

I agree with Alan Harrison, Dogtra have a vast range and are very helpful in their knowledge of the products they're selling. We use them all the time, with our rescue needs.
Does anyone in the Winch area know of a good dog trainer. My Puppy (9 months) is becoming very aggressive towards strangers on our own property or walking by. I do not know what to do.

go to www.dogtra.com Better than anything we have ever used. Works 100% of the time and is humane.
Jennifer Johnston is looking for this: "Looking for a recommendation on a vibrating collar for a ~2 year old female boxer." What do you all recommend and what advice do you have for her when training with a vibrating collar?
Leigh F. replied:
I did look up on dogtra.com but I'm confused which collar is vibrate in which category?
Fleetwood B. replied:
PETsMART actually carries a petsafe collar with only a vibration function now. I bought it a few months ago and I'm pleased with it so far. I personally don't use it as an aversive, but basically it is a cue for "watch me/find me". Dogtra is a superior brand, but If you want a collar without the e-stim, I would recommend the PetSafe one.
Stephanie R. replied:
We too use the Dogtra for our white boxer. We've had it for 7 yrs and replaced the battery one. Great value.
Michelle V. replied:
Dogtra is the one we use for our Deaf girl.
Jennifer J. replied:
Thank you everyone for all the recommendations. We really want a collar that uses vibration to assist in the "watch me/look at me" command. Right now when we want her we call our hearing boxer and she come in tow behind him. The only problem we have now is that he has learned to "snique" away from her. If she is looking at us she does come when we sign her name. Is there a Dogtra collar that just has vibration? I don't mind spending the money if it holds up well.
Tony D. replied:
I use a Dogtra collar for my deaf Pitty. I mainly use the vibration button. It has a Nick button as well as a constant one. You can adjust the level to whatever you need. I keep mine at a very low setting! I was one of those people who didnt agree with these collars until I unwittingly fell in love with a deaf dog and didnt have a way to communicate with her. She has been trained to stop and look at me when I hit the vibrate button. Once I have her attention she responds very well to hand signals. You really don't think about having to get your dogs attention until you need her to stop instantanously. Maybe she is running towards the road, in my case, she started to chase a deer. It's not like I can call out to her, she's deaf! I would rather give her a very small shock to stop her from getting injured than to have to deal with the consequences after. I know some people will say to leash her, but I have 10 acres out in the country and this works for me. Like I said before, I used to think these collars were cruel. But if used correctly they are a valuable tool to communicate with your deaf dog.
Kelly G. replied:
Dogtra all the way. It is incredibly reliable and I love them! I have the double dog and singe dog. They are not cheap but last forever.
Denise C. replied:
my trainer for my rescued deaf boxer recommended that i not use a shock collar but a Dogtra and it has worked wonderful. It is like a tinge unit . It is pricey but well worth it. waterproof, durable and rechargeable. I bought the NCP280 model. It has changed mine and his life. And the distance these collars have are great.
Anukap Y. replied:
Dogtra!! It works so well on my pitbull. Vibration is to call her and the static is to correct her. I was skeptic but I tried it on myself and it doesn't hurt, it only shocks you.
