  Hi folks looking for a wee bit of advice and tips. My wee boy is now 16 weeks old. When do you begin to trim, strip or have your puppy professionally groomed. Ideally I would like to show the wee boy. Although I've owned and shown dogs before ( Newfoundlands) I've never owned a westie. I want to do the best for him and getting the grooming correct is part of my mission. Can anyone advise when he should have his first clip, trim etc. your comments and advice would be greatly appreciated.
