  Frank has has two back surgeries this year to totaling over $10 k. Pet insurance paid the better part of it. I recommend Petsbest insurance. So does the doggie neurologist who performed his surgeries. Petsbest.com

  Please get a high quality food. Grain free is good, but also the fewer ingredients the better. In my opinion, dogs that live a long time on cheap food just get lucky that they don't have health issues. Feeding your dogs something low quality is the equivalent of you eating fast food every meal. I have two dogs who successfully overcame minor and serious health issues because I found a better food. Check out www.dogfoodadvisor.com. For pet insurance, we use www.petsbest.com. They are wonderful.

The amount of money that was refunded to us because we had the insurance was so helpful. The customer service is top notch too. I can't say enough good things about Pets Best. We've had this insurance for 10 years now.
