  I was wondering is anyone in the FC area a professional photographer who has don any extensive photography of the city through the past 40 years? Or is there a place I can look up photos from the area? I am a photographer and I grew up in the Fort Collins area until 10 years ago and I'd like to see some stuff for nostalgias sake.

  John Clarke has been a photographer in Fort Collins since 1971. His studio is actually the old Miller studio that has been around since the early 1900's. As he prepares to retire he is opening a gallery in the artisan village that will be opening on Timberline near prospect. The intent of the gallery is to display and sale his many thousand stock photos . . . both his and prints from the original miller glass plates. He is having a pre-opening open house shortly the centerpiece will be a 1907 panorama (3 plate) photo of downtown fort Collins. I guess this is my long way if saying he would be an excellent source.
