Female with alopecia here - looking for good recommendations for wig stores? Hello,
Feeling a bit nervous about posting here - but I could use some advice. I am a 35 year old Woman and I have recently been diagnosed with alopecia areata. My hair loss has gotten to the point where I need to start looking at wigs and/or toppers. Does anyone know of any compassionate and helpful wig stores that can help me with some options? Also wondering if there are any other women in this community who have some type of alopecia? Would love to be able to connect with someone who has experience with alopecia, not only for insight but also for support.
Thanks for any advice!

There was one on Phinney ridge that friends with cancer have been using. I think it was this one. https://www.hairoptionseattle.com/ I was a hair stylist in a former life, and I seriously couldn’t tell, until they took off their wigs after swimming.
Hey a good friend of mine is in need of advice on wig brands. She isn't a drag queen and wants to find a quality wig that people won't realize is a wig. Any advice out there?

There is a wig shop on Greenwood I used to drive by all the time when I lived in Fremont/Phinney. http://hairoptionseattle.com/
