  Can anybody recommend a good daycare in East Boston for a 1 year old? Preferably someplace with a good child-to-teacher ratio and the kids are given activities (instead of sat in front of a TV)?

  It will def make it easier if you are looking for a toddler spot. Jeffries Point Child Care. It's located right on Sumner St You would call the main office of East Boston Social Centers 617-569-3221 x17. I'm not sure of the wait or availability. They are wonderful there!!!!!!!

  Harbor City School starts at 2.9. I've heard from a few families that liked Little Folks for the most part, but they also start at 15 months. My Early Intervention providers highly recommended the Jeffries Point Child Care Center.
