  Hi everyone. We will be traveling to San Juan Del Sur in March for the first time and are wondering if we should exchange our US Currency for Cordoba's? Do the restaurants, shops, etc. prefer we pay in local currency, and is it easier? Also are there ATM's readily accessed? We booked via a travel agent but were told that we could only pay upfront for our air and that the hotels would want cash at check in. Thanks for any tips and advice. Merry Christmas!
