Any recommended movers or move-in cleaners? I'm making a short move soon, like less than a 10 min walk away within Brooklyn. I don't have too much stuff -- can easily fit in a van or back of a pickup.
What's the best way to find a mover for this? Google/Yelp/CL?
Could anyone also recommend a good move-in cleaner for a small studio? Or just use Google/Yelp?
Thanks!

I used band with a van (http://bandwithavan.com) for a previous move and they were great. Found them on Yelp. I have been screwed over by movers before and they were totally professional and efficient - worth it to not have to worry about being stranded on the day of your move. If you're moving on one of the popular moving days though, make sure you book well in advance. The closer you get to the end of the month, the less likely movers are to be available.
Hi Ditmas Parkers, Has anyone moved in the neighborhood recently who can recommend a man-with-a-van type of mover they like? Any leads appreciated. Thanks!

I have had a few great experiences with Rob: http://bandwithavan.com/
Can anyone provide a man/woman with a van service or recommend an inexpensive one? Need to move a queen sized bed and a rug from Manhattan to Williamsburg. Ok go!

bandwithavan.com... a bunch of guys in bands that move as their side business... I use them to move all the time, they rule.
