  hi angel, i did mine through weebly but i think i would recommend Amir H Fallah 's web building site http://madewithcolor.com/ i did my through weebly because i was already paying easycgi to host my website and i got weebly for free through them. their free templates are not really for artists ( more business oriented) so i had to figure out a way to make it work for me. but it was very easy to use the drop and drag format.

  Hi Mark, Congrats on the site. I think it's extremely important for ALL artists to have a website. It's the only way to present your work outside of a gallery setting. Google searches can bring up old work or things that may not be relevant to you. I know several curators and galleries that found me be because I had a simple and clean website that is not only easy to navigate but search engine friendly. I got so frustrated with how bad artist websites are that last year I helped start Madewithcolor.com, an easy to use website building platform created specifically for artists and other creatives to use. I used it to make my own site in about a few minutes and many of the artists you know use it as well.
