  FRIEND! Yes! (Why do I feel like I do nothing but recommend something to you--ha!) Fredericksburg is our favorite Texas town. We always stay at the Palo Alto Creek Farms: http://www.paloaltocreekfarm.com/. It is a working farm with all kinds of great livestock for the kiddos to see (and feed sometimes), but it is very secluded. It's like paradise for us. You have your own house. No sharing with anyone. The history there is really unique too. Oh, and deer come in during the twilight hours every night to feed. GO!
