I'm posting this info again, at Debra's suggestion. I would be SO grateful if you could help me find my Lily. I wouldn't be surprised if she was picked up in our neighborhood.
My Norwegian elkhound got out of my yard on Sunday, August 14, around noon. We live in the River Road area of Eugene, near Horn Lane and River Road.
Lily is spayed, so cannot be bred. She weighs 48 pounds, and wears a black collar. She is ID tagged, licensed, and microchipped. She has dense fur, silver and white, with black ears and accents. You can tell her from a Husky or Malamute by her very fluffy, very curly tail.
Friends and I have searched for Lily morning, noon, and night for two weeks. We have posted more than 450 posters of her in a 4 square mile area south of the Beltline, and run ads in the Register Guard and the Eugene Weekly. We now believe that someone picked Lily up almost as soon as she got out of my yard.
If you see a dog that looks like Lily being walked, or at a dog park, or in someone's back yard, PLEASE tell whoever has her about the reward and try to convince them to call me. Or YOU call me and give me information on where I can find her. I will gladly pay a $500 reward for her safe return, no questions asked.
If you see her wandering alone, but cannot get close, try to keep her nearby until I can get there.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! We want our beloved Lily back!
