The ideal person would be someone who practices western medicine but also is knowledgeable about alternative/holistic medicine AND takes insurance. The insurance part is a MUST!   Dr. Thomas Lin in Irvine is great for that. I do like my pediatrician - Dr. Amina Hassan-ElSayed. She is pro vaccine for sure, but also willing to let me have my way with what I want and don't for the kids, and she has been taking classes on homeopathy herself to learn more about alternative suggestions.
