  Hey guys, I'm coming out this winter for the season and I'm a beginner on the slopes. Working in Switzerland and living in Morzine. Just looking for advice on equipment really, would it be cheaper to buy in the UK, or wait until I am over there? Was thinking there may be some second hand or discount shops around? Or any discounts on the hiring of equipment until I've learned which one I'm better at! (ski/boarding) Also wondering if are there any options for workers for lessons? Thanks if you can help :)

  Definitely keep an eye on on the Morzine Snow Buy & Sell Facebook page for second hand kit. Although agree it is worth purchase a new pair of decent pair of boots (whether you ski or snowboard).   Snow peeps! I'm contemplating going over to the dark side... Can anyone recommend a week-long intensive snowboarding course? I'll get myself good enough to handle cruisy blues with lessons at Braehead before I go but need to be able to keep up with the rest of the crazy gang in March. Obviously the quality of instruction is the most important thing, but it would be closely followed by the standard of accommodation / food / wine... :)
