  What other places are like Tan-tar-a or the Lodge of the Four Seasons at the Lake of the Ozarks that you would recommend for a family of 4? Need a 1 bedroom condo type room. thanks!

  Melissa, they're not condos but we love Dogwood Acres in Sunrise Beach. Cute little cabins...nothing fancy at all but a charming mom and pop place. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, game room and the owners, Lindy and Weldon are some of the nicest people I've met. Very peaceful and beautiful setting.
