Affordable vet internal medicine specialist recommendations for a cat continuing to lose weight for no apparent reason? My 5yo cat has been seeing City Pets Veterinary Clinic for his care. They recently advised me to see a specialist, as my cat has significantly reduced his eating and is continuing to lose weight even though his bloodwork and xrays are normal. The only vet on their referral list in the area is Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners, which is a chain vet clinic throughout the US. Any other suggestions for a vet clinic that is reasonably affordable? i assume my cat will require an ultrasound, which City Pets was unable to do and I know that type of imaging can get expensive.

[Heritage Animal Hospital](https://www.hahvet.com) in Dundee, MI can at least do an ultrasound. No specialists though. They’re about 30-40 minutes away from Ann Arbor and, from the prices I’m seeing people mention here, would probably classify as reasonably affordable.
My groomer said my dogs anal glands are abscessed. Does anyone know the name of the dog clinic in Dundee. I need to take her to a vet because I don't know how to clean them.
