It pains me to leave this review, because Krista is a talented photographer. However, she was very challenging to work with and her behavior made me so stressed out during my wedding. We loved the engagement photos, so we booked Krista for our wedding. She told me she was pregnant, but that it wouldn't affect our wedding and if it did, she would find another photographer to replace her. About 3 months before the day, I contacted her to tell her that our ceremony was later than expected and the reception would be one hour after the ceremony. She told me that would be no problem at all and that she would email me a week before the wedding with a full timeline. The week before the wedding, she was nowhere to be found. When I finally got in touch with her ONE DAY before the wedding, she said she had been calling me at the wrong number. When I reminded her about the time change, she acted shocked and told me there wouldn't be enough time to get pictures. She then apologized for stressing me out but told me it was "just the truth." I decided to pay for an extra hour so she could come early and take photos as we got ready. On the phone, I tried to discuss shots and where she should be at what time, but she told me she "doesn't operate that way." She was a half hour late (time I paid for), and then complained the whole time about how hungry and tired she was. I offered her a bagel and soda literally an hour before my wedding as I tried frantically to get her to take photos of my MOH and flower girls. She insulted my wedding party, calling them “weirdos,” and several of them overheard her talking to my videographer about how horrible I was. Yes, on my wedding day. Several guests came up to me to tell me how inappropriately she was dressed, and to tell me about the weird things she said to them during the course of the wedding. She got me the photos months after she said she would, and apologized for the delay and offered us a free session, which I will never use. Working with her was horrible and I can't think of how she behaved in front of my guests without being utterly humiliated. The photos are wonderful, but it's tough to look at them knowing the story behind them.
