  I have a 10-year-old daughter that needs to be put on ADD meds, The self coping techniques are not working anymore. Need local resources or doctors that deal with ADD. Looking for some advice on a mild prescriptions for her. Her primary care has made some suggestions but I just wanted to reach out to other parents and see what they suggest. She's not hyper but has some significant attention and focus issues to the point that she's becoming highly frustrated on a daily basis. Any suggestions? Ty!

  Try consulting with Dr. Kim Furtado and her associates at http://www.quakertownwellness.com/ . She is a licensed doctor, a naturopathic physician. They may be able to help her without drugs, using food/herbs/nutrition, etc.. They have helped me. I highly recommend them. Unfortunately, although visits are covered by insurance in some states, DE doesn't yet acknowledge naturopaths as doctors so insurance companies are not required to cover these visits. But, it's worth EVERY PENNY!! No harmful side effects.
