  Can anyone recommend a neurologist in the area who actually does a thorough neurological exam ie: check reflexes, test balance etc and not just look at one part of you? Just don't want to go to Manhattan if I can avoid it. Thanks

  Neurological Associates of Long Island. 1991 Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park. Any of the doctors there. They do specialize in different areas. My husband started seeing one of the doctors and then was transferred to another one who specializes in his issue. 516-466-4700.
