Does anyone have one of these? Or know anywhere that sells them? It's an adapter needed to use a standard 9v power supply with a tube screamer ts-808. Mine is very temperamental! Cheers
just tried to order two IC microchips for an electronics project i'm working which cost less than £2 each but when i get the checkout they slap £18 on the total price for shipping. That's fucking shit. Anyone know where i can buy stuff like that either at low cost shipping or better still in store? I've already tried maplin but they dont sell the ones i need.

One of the more reasonable ones - www.rapidonline.com Farnell can be expensive if the part is not UK stock as they ship over so it can get very pricey. Maplins are Ok if you want a part "Right Now" and don't mind paying the premium - their stock of ICs is mixed but have most of the common ones or equivalents. RS online - Not really bothered with these guys much, they can be quite pricey. We do get ripped off with components in the UK, Europe or states is way cheaper. There is Reichelt.de in germany which are super cheap (visited their shop when I was in Berlin) I thinkt hey have a minimum cost for over seas orders though - £100 or so.
