  Pediatrician recommendations, south Austin Hi all, I need a new pediatrician for my boys, ages 3 and 19 months. My 3 year old was just diagnosed Autistic and I need a doctor that is sensitive to this issue. We were going to a doctor out in Bee Cave but its a drive for us now and additionally, he was never concerned about any of the behaviors that I brought up about my oldest. I eventually contacted Early Childhood Intervention on my own and I'm really glad I did now. Anyone have any recommendations or advice? He's also about to start the PPCD program at Kocurek Elementary, so if anyone has any experience with this program, I'd love to hear from you.

  So sad to have to leave Central Family Practice after many years, but I finally have insurance that is (relatively) affordable, and CFP doesn't take it. Now I'm looking for a doctor for the unicorns (favorite unicorn doctor, anyone?) and a lady doctor for myself. Ideally, one doctor who can see all of us, supports selective vaccination and is also open to treatments including acupuncture, herbs, non-invasive procedures, etc. would be truly awesome. My insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield. Thanks, ya'll!

  We love our unicorn (family) doctor, Dr. Cox! supports selective vaccinations & alternative treatments. He even supported the fact that I made little Nev homemade baby formula out of raw milk! http://www.southoaksfamilymedicine.com/
