  Hi, looking for some guidance. I need new glasses. I have a carte vitale, a mutuelle AND a valid prescription from my optician in the UK. So i went to the place in Morzine. Even tho i have a prescription, i still need a magic sheet with a magic number from my doctor. However, i am registered at the medical centre in Les Gets - and they don't do it. Morzine do and apparently so do SJD (medical centre) but not Les Gets. If you go into Morzine or SJD you can have it done by a doctor there PRIVIDING you do not say you are registered at Les Gets (as i done) because not only will they not do it, they will not accept that Les Gets don't... S0 - does anyone know WHERE one can go and get a devis (estimate) to buy some specs, with an ENGLISH prescription, carte vitale, mutuelle and NO SHI* ???? Anyone ? Is there ANYTHING straight forward in this country ? Anything ?? Thank you all in advance.
