  California Horse Boarding Hey guys. My husband and I are potentially relocating from the east coast to Anaheim, CA. Can anyone direct me on boarding horses within an hour-ish drive? Im really looking for turnout, wether it's paddock boarding or a large stall and a few hours of turnout in a pasture, anything. My dude will not do well in a "large stall and 15 mins of turnout in an arena" kind of situation. We do jumpers but i dont mind boarding anywhere thats friendly.

  In search of reasonable boarding for one horse in the east bay along the 680 corridor. Stall, paddock or pasture is fine-- added bonus would be a covered arena and a hunter/jumper or eventing trainer with clientele. I have an older thoroughbred mare, not mareish with no shoes who gets along well with just about everyone. Acts like a gelding and is up to date on everything. When in heavy work, I put front shoes on her but never any hind, so she'd be okay in pasture or paddock with others. Mid to low on the totem pole and is happy to let others lead. Looking in Martinez, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Ramon areas. Absolutely brand new to the area and I don't even know where to begin looking for boarding. Any feedback you can give would be wonderful!

  Need California suggestions! We have been asked if we would be interested in spending the summer in California...possibly the San Joaquin area or farther north...for my husband's job, but we would need to take our 3 geldings with us. We would stay in our motorhome. Any suggestions for us? We would be looking for a month long or longer site. Preferences: A place where we can get out and ride for several hours. We are avid trail riders. Full hook-ups preferable. Horses prefer pasture but pens w runs would work. Even a farm/ranch with hook-ups would probably work...just trying to consider a wide range of options at this point while we decide if we will do this. So what would you suggest we consider?
