  This is outside of West Hartford, but I thought some of you may have some experience. We are thinking of making a day trip to NYC for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Does anyone have any restaurant recommendations? It will be two adults and a picky 6 year old. He probably won't eat any Thanksgiving food so we will need to bring a sandwich for him or find a place that serves one of the few things he eats. What is the restaurant situation like on Thanksgiving Day?

  Henry's NYC on the Upper West Side. Families welcome!!!! But I highly recommend a reservation, especially on Thanksgiving. Prex fixe available as well as a la carte menu. In a more residential area, away from the tourist areas. http://www.henrysnyc.com
