  My dog's got in to a fight yesterday we just got back from the ER vet. hospital in Redlands it doesn't look good for my baby Bones she is in need of surgey her leg is broken. The Dr gave us 3 options 1st have the surgery quote 3,500 2nd amputate the leg 1,500 3rd put her down. My question is does anyone know of a hospital/clinic that has a orthopedic with a little more reasonable price.

  PetPlan seems to be the most popular we've dealt with in recent years. (It used to be VPI was about the only wide-spread company, but now there are tons). They (PetPlan) are very convenient for us on the other side of the desk, too (we hate dealing w/ complicated insurance forms). http://www.gopetplan.com/?ADC=Brand&ADG=Brand%20-%20Exact... I highly recommend pet insurance to everyone especially with the rise in veterinary costs even in the last ten years. It will give you the satisfaction knowing your pet is covered and also your veterinarian who won't lose a client, or their patient even, because of the cost of veterinary bills. Most of them will give you a free quote too so you know what you're looking at as far as pricing.
