I have an event and need my hair styled but I have an extremely unique magenta pink rockabilly hair style :) So I will pay well, I just don't trust a salon with this because they always want to talk me down OR make it look like I'm in a wedding party.   [American Mortals](http://www.americanmortals.com) in Washington Square might be worth checking out. I’m not too edgy anymore, but have seen the stylists there doing great work with unique looks. Edit: my stylist there is Katie B. and she is legitimately the most precise and detailed stylist I have ever had. Highly recommend.
