Ok- the age old debate for us country folks- internet providers! I've seen it on here before. Just looking for who you've found to be an efficient provider, who provides stable service. And doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Is that too much?

Tom O. replied:
Lavon Web. We tried them all. Glad he came back into the business and setup his tower. We have never lost service. Internet at home is critical for business income generated from office in the home.
Nathan C. replied:
Current ping from Lavon Web. It will go up to 15 mb burst and then level out to roughly 5 mbs. But I consistently get higher than 5 mbs

There really is no best. It's a crap shoot on any of them. Lavon Web is slow and overpriced for what you get, and Wifive is plagued with issues. Tier One is also a mess I hear.

Don C. replied:
Lavon Web. Jeff is a good guy, and he is one of us, so you are supporting a local business.
Don C. replied:
We live in an area that at this time is only serviced by Satellite internet, which is terrible, or wifi internet which is beamed off of towers. Wifi is a better option overall, so it comes down to the provider. I hated the service at wifive, and have been happy with Jeff and Lavon Web. I also tried Excede which is satellite. Data caps that we burned right through, expensive, and terrible customer service.
Dan S. replied:
Number on www.lavonweb.com
Dan S. replied:
Rhino , tier 1, wi-five... all over sold bandwidth and not locally owned and operated, or supported... www.LavonWeb.com on the other hand - is all of the above
Has anyone heard of exede internet service, after the Tierone fiasco I'm looking to change companies.
MaryGold D. replied:
My husband started up the original internet service that was later sold to tier one (and run into the ground). He has started up again. Call Jeff at 9728397253.
