  Looking for a reputable breeder between Philadelphia and Baltimore or around there. Scared to death of the Lancaster puppy mills and they come up on every web search. Did some searching through AKC and they even have the Lancaster area breeders on their site. Any help would be appreciated.

  I went thru Greenfield puppies.com , the breeders they use are registered with the State they are in and visited by Green Field.. I got a puppy from Ronks PA from Amish couple and he's amazing almost two and very health, I think it's kinda cool he started life in a barn with the Amish. Mine was AKC registered so I got a graph of his lineage that I can trace back to his great grandparents, I don't believe the AKC would knowing allow a puppy mill that would register many names all the time exist.. I would use them again if I was looking for a puppy.

  The Amish are known to have puppy mills. I believe Greenfield is a broker. Not good. We have the same in Ohio. If you can’t see puppies, parents,and where they live, it’s not ideal at all. AKC does not recommend breeders. Any breeder with AKC dogs who are not under suspension can advertise on their site.

  We generally see some in the paper. Try puppies.com and you will find breeders across the country. Stay away from the puppy mills.

  Just google breeders. You can also have them shipped and it's not that expensive. We found murdocks breeder by looking online and we went and checked it out to make sure it was puppy mill ish and that the dogs were definitely being taken care of well. We out a deposit down and then picked him up the next day. Beware you're going to want them all!! Had a litter of big blue fat belly cane corse puppies running at you and Falling all over May have been the cuties thing ever. We had same issue I'm all for adopting but I wanted a pure bred dog with a good bold line at 8 weeks old so we opted to go with the breeder. You're giving me puppy fever.

  i got both my puppies from Pampered Pup Kennels and Luxury Pet Resort near my house in Jersey! they are amazing and so nice there! they had the most adorable bichon last week when i went over to the farm! you can call to see if the pup is still there! and if not, they will find you a bichon and bring it to their farm! just gotta put down a deposit! both my dogs came from there and are healthy and amazing pups.
