Need hotel recommendations for disabled This might be oddly specific but I am hoping to visit dc soon. 33 y.o female traveling alone w/service dog on a budget
I’ll be arriving by Amtrak at union station and would like a place where I can get there and to the Smithsonian museums easily. Complicated travel or lots of switching busses would be difficult for me, so ideally I would like something very simple. I do not mind using the metro or a hotel shuttle as long as it is a simple route and relatively safe. My main concern is that i can get overwhelmed very easily and would like a place where I can also get back to the hotel easily if I need to during the day.
The hotel does not need to be fancy, and budget friendly would be ideal.
I really am only planning to see the museums, and maybe the national cathedral.
Thank you!

Anyone able to recommend cheap hotels within walking distance of Washington National Cathedral?

This is where I usually stay. It is not plush accommodations by any stretch of the imagination, but it's cheap, convenient to everything, and kind of a tradition for me to stay there. http://www.hotel-harrington.com/#
