Here's the original post: Hey neighbors, I don't recall whether it was here or Nextdoor, but somewhere we had a discussion of places to get outdoor seating cushions made. Mine are falling apart ... and some local wildlife has discovered how wonderful the filling is for nesting material, so I keep going out and finding more and more cushions being disemboweled. I need new cushions, but in a nice strong fabric that won't be as tempting to ... whatever creature has been building a nest around here. Any suggestions?

  I get mine from www.foamorder.com. They are in San Fran and I do all ordering online. I made outdoor beds and they used a marine vinyl And still looks great 10 years later. Also they do sunbrella and custom piping. They can do anything.

  I used to have a pillow top, which was supposed to be firm and absolutely wasn't. It killed my back. I tried a memory foam topper on it (from Costco), which made it even worse. My dad took the memory foam topper and put it on their guest bed (which used to be WAY too firm) and with the topper it was perfect. I then bought a memory foam mattress from http://www.foamorder.com/ and I LOVE it. It's located in SOMA, so you can go try out the gamut of soft to firm. It was cheaper than the Tempurpedic ($1200 vs. $1500 if I recall correctly) and felt better. It has a strip of firm foam around the edge, so when you sit on the edge of the bed it doesn't feel like the bed is slowly tipping you onto the floor, which was the case with Tempurpedic. It does run a little warm, but that may also be due to the fact that Sean likes to be bundled up and my temperature swings erratically when I sleep. It's always done that, though, even on conventional mattresses. Sorry that was so long.

  I left a message with foamorder.com, waiting to hear back from them now. I know they carry the (crappy, useless) 2 lb eva, but their website wasn't clear about whether they also stock the 4 lb.
