Hi, we holiday in the lakes every year and always book well in advance in to a self catering cottage. We go next on the 19th August for a week. Just had a call from the booking company we used to say that the owner has put the property on the market so now we have to find something else! Everywhere is booked up!!
Does anyone know of any cottages that sleep 8, have parking for 4 cars, and are in a decent location ? ?? Any help is much appreciated
This year as been a nightmare to get my hubbies holidays to match mine...so planning ahead. Due to Jakes nervousness to strangers and don't think he would cope in kennels we are looking for dog friendly holidays. Any recommendations would be great

Hello all... My recently engaged mum wondered if anyone knew of somewhere that does outdoor weddings?? Doesn't need to be anything too fancy... Just legal and outdoors
Phil J. replied:
The civil marriages act, in England, only allows couples to be married in premises licensed by a county council, of a permanent nature. You cannot be legally married in a temporary structure, like a tent or marquee or outside in England. Our licensed premises are at The Coppermines Coniston, high in the fells where you can be married just inside a room, but looking out at our stunning views, through the 3 metre wide doors to this room....more details here....www.coppermines.co.uk
