  Crazy question but I'm going to put it out there (Facebook rarely lets me down): Does anyone have — or know of someone who has — a used men's bicycle to sell or loan in the San Diego area? I have a kid who just moved there and cannot afford to live where he works (Rancho Santa Fe) so he needs a way to get around while he shops for a car. Eternally grateful for any leads.

  There are bike shops that rent in San Diego. Bit at many the daily rental can be as much as buying a used bike on Craigslist. Here is a pretty good rental shop: http://thebikerevolution.com/
