I'm working on a project and I'm using channel struts, the lower profile ones with the 13/16" channel depth. I found the channel strut itself just fine at the big box stores but they don't sell the spring fasteners for this shallower strut there. Nor is there selection of brackets and angle support all that great. I'm gonna check out Grainger but does anyone know anywhere else I can checkout for this kind of building hardware supplies? I just need like a few parts, definitely not buying bulk. Thanks!

Ordered head bolts and the ones taken out do not even match the recommended parts from the dealership/part store/any part store in general. Factory head bolts are M12-1.75x90mm or something similar Ones pulled out are M12-1.5x130mm I CANNOT FIND THESE ANYWHERE. Anytime I try searching the most I can get is 1.5x100mm. For anyone curious it is a 2006 Chevrolet Silv 1500 5.3L (not flex fuel) Does anyone have any advice??? The bolt packaging and recommendations is not to re-use bolts due to the torque. And unfortunately the heads are already pulled off.... I have no idea where to find it and this truck needs to be repaired

I know there are millions of models of strut bars, but I want to keep using mine.Nick W. replied:It looks like the piece that broke is a pretty custom made piece to the company that makes the bar. If you know who that is, you could try to contact the company to get a replacement. If not, it looks like you could use a regular spherical rod end to replace it. McMaster.com has a large assortment of them, all you need to do is find the thread pitch of the threaded portion, and the size of the bolt that goes through the bearing.

I'd recommend Trade size 1 or 2 (2 is bigger and what I have) strainers to filter out the gunk and put one coarse and one fine bag in the strainer. I have mine from mcmastercarr.com. That 1HP is a Chinese horse. It's more like 1/3 to 1/2 in USA numbers (the Chinese measure the current draw and calculate HP as an INPUT to the motor, the Western world uses the OUTPUT of the motor as the HP rating). Don't know the frame size, if nobody has that number handy take a few measurements and browse the McMaster.com or Grainger.com websites under motors, they generally can get you a size quickly from measurements.

Hi Al, I just replaced that section of pipe on Amigo. It is a stainless steel corrugated flex pipe with 1.25" pipe welded on each end. I had it fabricated at a local metal welder fabricator.
