  Regarding training: at least a two-day basic or interdisciplinary training is vital to understand how to competently and ethically practice collaborative law. A basic interdisciplinary training sponsored by the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas will be held in San Antonio on May 8 th and 9 th. To register go to www.collablawtexas.com, scroll down to the bottom right of the home page and click on Trainings/Events for Collaborative Professionals. Also, the State Bar and CLI-TX will present the annual Collaborative Law Conference on March 20 th and 21 st in Dallas. This year is a not-to-be-missed event, featuring Pauline Tesler, the first President of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
