Anyone have TMJ? Looking for dentist recs. I've been putting this off but it's definitely time to start dealing with it. I'm looking for recommendations of dentists in Denver/surrounding areas who know their stuff when it comes to TMJ, and who favor a more conservative approach (not jumping right to surgery, or immediately wanting to shave down all of teeth into oblivion). Thanks!

I was treated by Dr. Lauson at [Aurora Orthodontics](http://www.aotmj.com/) for my TMJ/bite issues. Every other ortho I went to told me I'd need orthognathic surgery to correct my teeth, but Dr. Lauson was able to treat me with appliances, braces, and some side therapies that were done in office. He also referred me to [Sandra Coulson](http://www.coulsonandassociates.org/), an excellent orofacial myologist, who can work with you on exercises and things you can do to improve your bite. Hope this helps, and good luck!
Anyone know of a pediatric orthodontist that they can recommend???

Aurora Orthodontics &TMJ - S. Kent Lauson 303 690-0100. He is the best around. They have a Southlands office and another office off Parker road and Hampden. Was on the "Today Show". I love him and he has really helped me out. :)
