  Does anyone know a service who can help a racoon who is stuck in a chimney? My friend lives in the College and Bathurst area and the racoon is stuck in her neighbour's chimney. The neighbour won't pay to have it removed (nor will the landlord) and animal services won't take on a job this complicated. She's getting a bit of a run around. Thoughts? I know this isn't in our area, but we might be able to help...? :)

  For a humane removal I highly recommend Toronto Wildlife Centre. I urge you to take a look at their website.

  Toronto Wildlife Centre has a hotline and will offer you sound advice. They also have rescue staff, should they assess the raccoon needs moving. I second what folks on here say though, if she's got babies, she's not going anywhere (and shouldn't be forced to). I worked for a wildlife protection organization for years and Gates Wildlife is the ONLY company I recommend. I suggest making a call to them and getting their advice too.
