  Oh the joys of an old house -- just purchased, and it's been vacant for a few months. There is a family of raccoons living in the unused side of the chimney (fireplace has been inactive and closed off for decades - and the cap is missing. It'll be replaced after the raccoons are gone). Does anyone here have recommendations for animal control people who can come take a look and figure out how to evict them? They'll need a tall ladder to get up to the top of the roof to get into the chimney. Thanks in advance! As always, looking for providers who are professional, competent, fairly priced, and communicate well about what it is they're doing and what they charge.

  Does anyone know a service who can help a racoon who is stuck in a chimney? My friend lives in the College and Bathurst area and the racoon is stuck in her neighbour's chimney. The neighbour won't pay to have it removed (nor will the landlord) and animal services won't take on a job this complicated. She's getting a bit of a run around. Thoughts?
