  This is an old herringbone parquet wood tile floor from the 80s. The tiles are made by Bruce and have been discontinued for ages. Recent water damage has ruined a good portion of the hallway. Anyone know of a good flooring or wood specialist who can repair or replace this? I want it done right and don't want to have to replace with something different :(

  Thanks everyone for the nice words! It looks like the hardwood is delaminating or coming apart. If that is the case, there is probably a moisture issue in the subfloor causing your problem or maybe some long term improper maintenance. It may be sal vageable, but I'd have to check it out and take some moisture readings. Feel free to give me a call tomorrow@813-495-7027 and I don't charge to come over and check it out. Usually, local businesses have no problem competing with pricing when it comes to first quality products. Although, I have not used them in a few years, every thing we use is special ordered from our distributors.
