  Morning everyone :-) I'm thinking of doing some work on my new (to me) flat in the next year or so and looking for some recommendations for local tradespeople for quotes so I can start saving/planning. 1- electrician to change 1960s sockets etc to some shiny new ones (possibly a bit of electrical stuff needs doing) 2- plasterer to chase in some cables and skim horrible walls/ceilings ready for me to paint 3- flooring, to give an opinion of the floorboards and quote for sanding or refitting 4- build a separation (wood) wall in my garage with a door. 5- bathroom/kitchen supply and fit. Don't think any of this is essential or immediate, but I'd like to make some contacts and get quotes :-)
